Travelled to explore Glasbury, this apartment was a super base for doing it. Although beds were too soft, we loved the stay and your local tips. Location was ideal and convenient, next to the river, nature and which on occasion prove to be unreliable.

the location was perfect - right on the bank of the Wye with stunning views. The cottage was comfortable and cozy, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The terrace was a beautiful spot to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and watch the birds.

    Cooker was unconventional.

Activities: The location of this apartment is perfect for those who love outdoor activities. I had a blast hiking and playing tennis nearby, feeling as energized as a mountain goat!

Limited stay: Three nights weren't enough to fully experience the beauty of Glasbury and Ferryman's Cottage. I can't wait to return next summer and make the most of this charming place.

Beautiful setting and location in a lovely area, close to Hay and Brecon. Sometimes, the nearby public transportation can be a bit unreliable 😕.

Amazing location on the bank of the river. Spacious cottage with thoughtful touches like complimentary drinks. Nearby pubs and restaurants are popular, so reservations are recommended. Enjoy bird watching from the terrace, weather permitting.

Loved the hiking and tennis in the area - it really challenged my upper-class athleticism. The nearby airports were just fabulous, darlings, I felt so important flying in and out. The terrace was a delightful spot to sip my Pimm's and pretend I was at a fancy tennis club.

Oh, how I despised the lack of a private helicopter landing pad. How am I supposed to arrive in style?

The cottage offered seclusion without making us feel isolated. As solo travelers, we felt secure and welcomed by the friendly family members. the cottage had a cozy bedroom with a garden view, an open living room, dining room, and a well-equipped kitchen. We loved the French doors that opened onto a private patio overlooking the Wye river, where we could enjoy kyakers, swans, and beautiful sunsets. The charming hostess, Lynda, was always there to assist us in exploring the area. Cons: Nothing ? ✌? .

The location was absolutely stunning, set right by the river and surrounded by lush gardens. It was a perfect retreat for nature lovers like me. The cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The patio overlooking the river was a definite highlight, providing a peaceful spot to unwind and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I also appreciated the warm and friendly welcome from the owners, who were helpful and gave great suggestions for exploring the area.

While I had a fantastic time at this cottage, the only downside was the limited public transport options and unreliable taxis in the area. This occasionally made it a bit challenging to get around and explore as much as I would have liked.
